Hanging Method (Figure-Shape Method)

The suspension method was developed by Henry Herdson in the mid-17th century. It has emerged as a continuation of the settlement system. The information that is wanted to be memorized by this method is suspended mentally to the objects. In this method the figures are represented by some objects that resemble them. For example;

1. Because the number is similar to the pen, it can be identified with the pen.
2. The number resembles the swan and is associated with the swan.
3. The number is identified with the gull because it resembles the seagull.

Unlike the examples in your example you can establish similarities that evoke that number. You must memorize the similarities that you have created. It will no doubt be easier for the numbers to memorize because they will establish an identity according to the objects they resemble.

This method is a method that should be used to memorize the information.
